Meet .lyr — names that end in Lyr.
A preview of Lyrcloud’s own domain extension. .lyr names work today on any device that uses Lyrcloud DNS.
What “preview” means
- .lyr isn’t an official extension yet. It isn’t approved by ICANN, so most devices can’t open .lyr names. They work once a device or browser uses Lyrcloud DNS (below).
- No padlock yet. Public certificate authorities don’t issue certificates for .lyr, so .lyr sites open over plain
http://. - Not for sale — but you can reserve one. .lyr names aren’t sold yet. Reserve up to three for free below and you’ll get first claim when .lyr opens.
